There is a very small window when a puppy determines what is safe and good in the world. A well-socialised puppy generally has an optimistic view of the world around it. This is assuming things are safe unless and until proven otherwise.
A puppy with little or no socialization is likely to become fearful. Its important to ensure they are exposed to as many stimuli (things we want them to like) as possible while ensuring that they have a positive experience with each of them.
Simple Puppy Training Techniques
The stimuli maybe other dogs, sights, sounds, people of all types. Puppy training with simple obedience commands will also help to encourage a happy healthy puppy but also make many situations more enjoyable for yourself. For example having a dog that walks well on the lead is likely to be a pleasant walk, on the contrary a dog that pulls consistently throughout the walk is likely to hurt you and the dog making the walk neither fun or enjoyable.
Many commands are also essential for your dogs safety and well being. For example a dog with a poor recall could quite easily end up in all sorts of trouble. Attending your local puppy class is a great way to socialise you pup with other puppies, allows you to meet and talk to other puppy owners and also to learn all those basic commands.
