We have a Labrador crossed with a Golden retriever and we recently purchased a microfibre dog drying coat for him.
They are fantastic and here is why-
We regularly take Henry swimming, he absolutely loves water but also it was recommended that we take him regularly to help with his back legs. We take him to hydrotherapy as well as to our local stream. After he goes swimming we simply bung his drying coat on and pop him into the back of the car. The microfibre lining absorbs the water and helps to dry him off but it also keeps him warm after the swim
Our boisterous Henry loves running through mud and boggie grounds. By the end of the walk, hes usually covered in mud and smells quite a bit of a wet dog. We pop his drying coat on as soon as we get in and leave him in the kitchen. My kitchen walls now stay clean, no longer do i have to deal with mud spattered walls.
We have also used the coat to keep Henry cool in the summer. All you have to do is soak the coat in cold water for a while and then wrap it around your dog when they are too hot.
They are easy to pop on just simply slide over the head and there is a Velcro stap accross the belly to secure the coat into place.
