Our puppy training techniques will help you to respond correctly to the daily challenges involved in having a new puppy, alleviating the adjustment period and making it easier for you and your family.

It’s a very exciting time when you bring a new puppy into the family.  We all imagine the joys of the new addition but never anticipate the potential issues that can come with them. Puppies are cute, cuddly and fall of energy bounding around your home, but there has to be structure and discipline from the off to prevent it having a negative effect on you and your family.

Puppies need a lot of attention at all hours of the day while they settle in to their new surroundings.  Remember, they have spend the first few weeks of their life snuggled around their mother with their other siblings, without a care in the world and now they are in a strange place with different people.

If you do not notice the problems early enough can cause lots of problems and stress and this is the reason that more dogs with behaviour problems are given to reduce centres

Puppy Training Daily Routines

It is extremely important to impose a routine on a daily basis for you puppy.  Get them to know where their food, water and bed is located.  What time they can eat in the day and what time they should go to their bed.  Make it clear and show them where they can go to the toilet.

If these simple routines are followed all of the time it will help programme your puppy into knowing the basics in their day to day life.

Not following this initial puppy training routine will not give your puppy the best start in their new home and you will they will make the wrong decisions, which can cause confusion and defiance early on.

Remember it’s your home and your new addition has to fit into your life and not the other way round!!!
